Hey Readers, today we have the great pleasure of chatting with New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Carolyn Brown. Not only is she is witty and charming, she’s an all-around fantastic human being, as Kym and I’ve learned first-hand when meeting her at a readers’ convention a few years ago.
Born in Texas, these days she and her hubby of almost 50 years, Mr B—you’ll hear lots more about him in the interview, just you wait!— make their home in Oklahoma, a small town of less than three thousand people where everyone knows everyone, knows what they are doing and with whom, and read the weekly newspaper to see who got caught. This is the kind of experience that informs and enriches so many of her—get a load of this—90-some books!! When Carolyn isn’t writing or spending time with her children and grandchildren, she likes to sit in the back yard and watch the antics of her tom cats. Now that sounds like it should go in a book somewhere, am I right?
Alright everyone, wherever you’re at today, whether you’re multitasking or sitting back and relaxing, let go of all your worries and let Carolyn’s smooth-talking, east Texas drawl take you someplace nice.
Thanks for listening, here’s Part 1.
Thanks for listening, gang! Be sure to listen to the rest of Carolyns’s interview when Part 2 comes out!
