Hey everybody! I think our guest today is one of those people whose story will inspire you. Becky Wade began writing in the historical romance genre before she gave up writing entirely for seven years. Yes, that’s right—seven years—so she could raise three children. What’s inspiring is her willingness to do what her spirit told her to do. Or maybe, what a higher power moved her to do because at the end of those seven, non-writing years, she completely changed genre and began crafting stories built around her faith. I love this because sometimes I think we all feel like we can’t put the brakes on the fast-moving trains of our lives. Like, we just have to keep rollin’ on in the direction we’ve been going whether we like it or not. But Becky’s story proves we can go where our heart – where our spirit – leads us. Even if it’s uncharted waters. Thank you for that lesson, Becky. We hope you all enjoy hearing from this intelligent and deeply honest writer. We sure did.
And as promised…here’s that Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe mentioned in the episode.
